Naomi Azulay began her Physical Therapy career in 1980 and over the last 30 years has had extensive experience in treating orthopedic, neurological, spinal, and chronic pain syndromes, as well as developmental disorders. She started her private practice in 1997.

With a background in yoga and dance, Naomi has a keen interest in helping others to learn new ways of moving, to develop core muscle strength and to change painful movement patterns. She works directly with each patient, using manual techniques to restore normal muscle tone and joint mobility, and designs specific exercise programs to address muscular imbalances, neurological deficits and pain.

Naomi believes that preventing injury (or avoiding re-injury) is a vital element in any successful treatment plan. Preventing injury may involve strengthening of particular muscle groups, practicing healthy body mechanics or using ergonomic interventions. By focusing on prevention as well as treatment, Naomi helps patients develop their body awareness and resiliency in movement.

Before the Fall™ is a Balance, Strength and Fall Prevention program for older adults. Naomi developed the Before the Fall™ training program to help older adults re-gain their strength, balance skills and confidence in their physical abilities. Before the Fall™ is conducted in one-on-one training sessions and group classes.
