
BALANCE, STRENGTH & FALL PREVENTION TRAINING
Falls are the leading cause of injury in adults aged 65 and over.
Naomi developed the Before the Fall™ program to address the special concerns that many older adults have with balance difficulties and fear of falling. Before the Fall™ is a multi-dimensional approach to balance, strength and fall prevention that is individualized for each person.
Before the Fall™ includes:
- A comprehensive evaluation to identify key factors that are affecting your ability to balance.
- One-on-one training and group classes in a safe, supportive and fun environment.
- Practice on exercise balls, foam surfaces, steps and other equipment to develop your balance and movement skills.
- Activities to enhance your strength, endurance and independence in daily life.
Naomi received extensive training and certification as a Fallproof™ Balance and Mobility Specialist Instructor through the Center for Successful Aging at California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of the Balance & Falls Special Interest Group of the Geriatrics Section, APTA.
